Springs, arrangement of.-In vehicles having their bodies mounted on the axles by means of single-armed springs, the springs are arranged to extend directly from each axle towards the adjacent end of the vehicle, and one or both springs of each pair are preferably capable of yielding in a lateral direction. The springs a may be attached to the body by auxiliary springs f capable of vibrating laterally, or the lowermost leaf of the spring may be twisted into a vertical longitudinal plane to allow lateral yielding. In another arrangement, one spring of each pair is pivoted about a vertical pivot.
