Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies on; mounting bodies. - In vehicles of the kind in which the engine is mounted upon a frame rigid with the rear axle and spring - supported at the front, the side members q, q<1>, of the frame are so spaced apart that the body has no part of the framework below it. The engine b is mounted upon a framework a rigid with tubular side members q, q<1> connected to the rear axle r<2>, the front end of the framework a being carried by a transverse spring p. The body is carried at its front end on the engine frame by a ball joint y and its rear end is supported on the axle by the inverted springs x, x<1>.
