19,517. Hodd, G. W. Sept. 1. Eyeglasses.-Consists in means for the attachment of a stamping comprising in one piece the bridge a, sides c, and plaquets b. In the case of rimless eyeglasses, the stamping is provided with projections e which pass through holes in the side plates f. These plates are curved in section so as more effectually to grip the stamping. In the case of eyeglasses provided with rims, one of the projections m<1> on the stamping is formed with a hole, and the eye wire d' carries an L-shaped piece i, j. The small arm i carries a slot through which the projection e passes, while the arm j has a hole corresponding with the hole in the projection m<1> so that these two parts can be secured together by a screw n.
