Abstract

16,085. Filmer, R. H. July 11. Securing bags.-Cardboard and other bags of the kind in which the two sides have extensions a, b which meet at the top, and in which extensions e of the ends fold inwards under the extensions of the sides, are fastened by means of wings a<2> on a flap a<1> on the extension b, these wings being tucked into the openings at the end of the top of the bag and being held in place by the springy nature of the material. In conjunction with this fastening, another fastening may be used consisting of a string ring c passing through holes in the box and round a tongue d<1> on the flap a<1>.
