Abstract
19,824. Rignall, W. B. Sept. 6. Advertising. - An env e l o p e for advertising purposes is folded in the usual manner, but the bottom flap is extended to reach to the top of, and to fold inside, the envelope. Advertisements or pictures are so placed that they are only seen when the envelope is opened. The portions e,f, Fig. 1, are the extended portions of the bottom flap d, the part e being shaped to correspond with the top flap. The portion f is folded inside the envelope, and the side flaps c, c<1> are folded between the portions of the extended flap, as in Fig. 2. Projecting pieces g, g<1>, formed on the extended flap, may be attached by gum to the side flaps, and to facilitate the opening out of the envelope lines of perforations y, y' may be made along the bases of these projecting pieces. As shown m Fig. 3, the portions e, f are separate from the bottom flap and afterwards gummed thereto.
