Abstract

9034. Ostermann, G. April 11. Aerated sprayers.-An apparatus for coating by spraying molten metal comprises a melting- pot a fitted with a nozzle c to which compressed air &c. is delivered, and the metal is drawn into and propelled through a long atomizing-tube g at the bottom of the pot. The outlet of the tube is protected from the gas-burner b by a plate h. In a modification, the nozzle and outlet are arranged horizontally. A hand apparatus may be provided with a cover, and a flexible blast-pipe.
