Manure and like distributors. - Distributors for fertilizers and other materials are provided with rotary open helices for positively expelling the fertilizers &c. from the hopper. The square spindle of each open helix g fits into the hub of a worm-wheel e mounted in a gland in the side of a long parallel-sided pocket b in the hopper a. The worm-wheels e are driven by worms i on a countershaft h driven from the road wheels. The open helices force the manure &c. through openings c, the size of which is regulated by a plate connected to levers k. A plate l. carrying angled pieces n, is reciprocated in the hopper by an eccentric.
