1606. Tinline, W. J. Jan. 21. Actuating; combinations of interdependent valves. - Relates to a plug cock which contains an auxiliary plug adapted to close on rise of temperature. T h e main plug 1 is provided with a cap 7 carrying by means of a ring of fusible metal 8 a spindle 6 to which the auxiliary plug 5 is secured. On rise of temperature, the fusible metal 8 melts, and the plug 5 falls and closes the passage-way through the valve. A spring 9 ensures the action of the plug 5.
