Abstract

29,895. Pratt, F. G. Dec. 23. Hulls.-Comprises improvements in the hulls of vessels having the underwater portion formed of concave-convex curves. The curves have gradually-increasing radii from the bow a to the g as shown. The junction of the curves with the upper portion of the hull is preferably made with a sharp angle and rearwards from a point slightly abaft the midship section the said junctions may be rounded with graduallyincreasing curves.
