Lids and covers. - A lid suitable for paper receptacles of the kind described in Specifications 3301/06, 14,465/06, and 23,374/06, and particularly intended for use with the receptacles described in Specification 24,446/10, has a bead or enlargement 4, Fig. 1, at the bottom of a sloping or vertical part 1 having a flange 2. The bead is formed before the lid is applied to its receptacle, and it may be double, as shown in Fig. 2, or may be formed by securing a disk or ring 7, Fig. 3, to the underside of the lid proper.
