Abstract

[Cognate Application, 27,364/10.] Easel stands.-A hand-carrier for artists' canvases is provided with three foldable telescopic legs f, f<1>, Fig. 3, which are attached to two canvas separators a and to the frame z to form an easel. The legs f, f<1> are hinged to blocks g, i, which, by means of screws, are pivoted to the separators in the case of the fore-legs f, and to the frame in the case of the rear leg f<1>; or, in the latter case, there may be employed either an adjustable screw clamp gripping the frame z and screwed to the block i, or a block i<1>, Fig. 5, to which is screwed a sliding piece i, the two pieces i, i<1> forming an adjustable clamp.
