Easel stands.-An artist's easel in the form of a tripod stand is provided with a hinged panel tilter B having a spring clip 0 to receive the top edge of the panel D and spring clips E frictionally engaging the legs of the tripod to receive the lower edge of the panel. The lower edge of the panel may be carried by a skeleton framework hinged to a tray which is supported at one end by the clips E and at the other end by straps depending from the tilter B.
