20,748. Johansson, F. J. E. Sept. 6. Joints for concentric pipes; junction-pieces; plates, securing tubes to.-The tubes of boilers of the Belleville type, or of similar boilers with concentric smoke and water tubes, are secured . to elastic junction boxes which form automatic tightening - devices of the kind described in Specifications 3241/04 and 3247/04. The invention is shown applied to a double-tube boiler. The outer tubes 14 extend for a short distance into the elastic junction boxes 20, and are provided with a flange 21 against which the boxes abut. The inner tubes pass right through the boxes, and are secured at the outer ends by nuts 22, 23 and shoulders 24.
