Fly screens.-In a window screen of the type which is wound on a spring roller, is adapted to be attached to the window sash, and has a thickened edge running in guides, the thickened edge is formed by attaching to the screen proper broad strips y of uniform thickness. A second thickening may be formed adjacent to the outer face of the guides i, Fig. 6. The thickening-strips may be attached directly to the fabric t, or to a separate edging z, Fig. 7. The roller p carrying the screen is mounted in a casing n at the top or bottom of the window, in which may also be mounted a second roller 16 carrying a blind 15. The screen may be clipped or otherwise attached to the sash.
