Abstract

3553. Fauner, J. F. Feb. 11. Draught &c. excluders.-A resilient metal weather strip for sliding window sashes comprises a member 25 secured to the window frame along one edge 21, which may be folded over as shown in Fig. 1. The member tends to spring away from the window frame and is bent to form a face 27 which presses against the sash 18 and is formed with an intermediate rib 28 engaging a groove 15 in the sash. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, the strip is bent to fit around, and to be secured to, the bead 14.
