Casement fasteners, cockspur type. -In a reversible fastener of the cockspur type, the handle a and tongue b are made separate, the handle being provided with two inclined shoulders a', either of which can be made to abut against a shoulder b<1> on the tongue when the parts are assembled. The handle and tongue are both pivoted on a pin d secured to the fixing-plate c by a nut e, an angular portion of the pin entering a similarly-shaped aperture in the plate to prevent rotation of the pin. The nut c is housed within a recess on the underside of the fixing-plate.
