Abstract

10,523. Wilson, E. M. April 29. Pins, dress and like.-Consists in securing ladies' hats by pins passed through eyelets 16 suspended from a steel or similar band 1 which is sprung into the hat. The band is formed into an expansible ring by slips 4, 10, which are respectively secured to the ends 5, 2 of the band by pressed indentations entering holes in the band. Prongs 3, 7 are provided on the band and the slip 4 to secure the band in the hat, and similar prongs are carried by one or more sliding collars 8. Slidable hangers 12 and a hanger 11 on the clip 10 carry eyelets through which hair pins are passed. The hangers, which are of flexible material to conform to the shape of the head, extend slightly below the bandeau, and the Provisional Specification states that the back hangers are slightly shorter than those at the front of the hat.
