Abstract

3558. Moore, E. Feb. 23. Appliances for securing to head.-Relates to improvements in the means of securing ladies' hats, bonnets, &c. described in Specification No. 2023, A.D. 1900. The hat or bonnet is secured by cords fastened to hooks 8 on the hat and passed under the hair as shown in Fig. 4. In the device shown in Fig. 1, two endless cords 6 are used. These run through eyes on hooks 7 and through a central metal clip 10. In another device, a single endless cord is used. Fig. 3 shows another device, in which a single cord is used hooked through hooks 7. It may have a central ornament 10 as shown.
