Abstract
2530. Upham, B. F. Feb. 18, 1909, [Convention date]. Feeding sheets. - In a rotary machine for printing on sheets, of the kind in which two feed-tables are used, the sheets are fed by automatic feeding-devices over an upper table 9 to grippers 5 on the impression cylinder, an ordinary gauge 20 assisting the registering, and by automatic feeding - devices over a table 21 provided with turned-up parallel guides 23, which guide the sheets so as to be readily taken by grippers 6. The sheets may be fed by hand down the tables, and the lower table may be provided with a gripper cylinder in place of the guides 23.
