Abstract
950. Soc. Besnard, Maris, et Antoine. July 26, 1909, [Convention date]. Gas, oil, a n d s p i r i t stoves.- S e v e r a l inclined parallel perforated plates 2 are arranged in a casing 3 above a lamp or burner 1, so that t h e combustion products are baffled and mixed with air which enters at the lower rear ends of the plates. The mixture of a i r and combustion products leaves the stove through perforations in the front at the upper ends of the plates 2. The plates 2 m a y b e corrugated, and may each have a cent r a l perforation through which a portion of the combustion p r oducts passes directly to the top of the stove, in order to heat a vessel placed on it. The lower part of the front of the stove is perforated to allow the heat to be radiated through it from the undersides of the plates 2. The stove may be heated by gas, oil, alcohol, &c.
