Multi-stage centrifugal pumps; balancing moving parts.-In centrifugal pumps wherein end thrust, due to difference of pressure at opposite sides of the impeller is eliminated by connecting the chambers or spaces at opposite sides of the impeller by passages through a stationary part of the pump casing, such passages are provided by making hollow the screws by which the diffuser and casing parts are secured together.
