Abstract

28,346. Mitchell, N. S. Dec. 4. Metal-strip fastenings. -The meeting edges of blouses &c. are secured together by providing one edge with a metal strip A having sockets B, C at each end, and the other edge with a jointed strip D having ends adapted to engage the sockets B, C. When the ends of the strip D are engaged in the sockets, it is brought parallel with the strip A and secured in this position by a hook E on the strip A engaging an eye F on the strip D, cr by other suitable means.
