26,425. Hibberd, C. E. Nov 15. Gas meters. - The measuring-chambers of a dry gas-meter are constructed so that they may be easily taken to pieces and reassembled. They are formed of two parts a, b having the relation of a box and a lid, with flanges e, g substantially perpendicular to the main plane of the chamber, clamping the diaphragm c between them, and further sealed together, if desired, by screws h. The gas-conduit o from the side a to the gas-channel p leading to the valves, is secured by a nut r and a flange q on the pine The gas-conduit k from the side b is connected to a pipe i, carried by the gas channel p, by means of a screwed sleeve m and a lock-nut n, washers being provided for preventing leakage.
