Wick burners, b l u eflame; flame - spreaders; mantle supports.-Relates to incandescent kerosene lamps, and consists in a device for regulating the air supply according to the height of the wick, and in a combined flamespreader and mantle-support. The perforations in the ring 12 at the top of the air-tube 6 are more numerous towards the top of the ring, so that when the wick is low, it receives less air than when it is higher. The ring rests on a flange formed in the air-tube. The cup-shaped flame-spreader 19 carries arms 23 engaging the chimney carrier 18, and arms 25 engaging the mantle - supporting rod 21.
