Abstract

Metallic spring bodies and cores. -In spring wheels of the type described in Specification 21,993/06, in which an elastic tyre E is connected with the rim K by spring plungers C<3> having springs C arranged between them, the springs C are provided with internal supports, which preferably comprise interlocking eye-bolts A, B attached to the rim and tyre respectively. The plungers C<3> work through flanged sockets C<2> screwed into plates P on the inside of the felloes, the plates being secured by the bolts A, which also secure plates J on which the springs C bear. The outer ends of the plungers, which are adjusted by nuts N, are provided with plates S, against which the springs surrounding them bear, and are provided with tubular parts M, to which links A<2> at the sides of the tyre are pivoted by means of bolts X. The plates A<2> are also pivoted at their ends to plates F, against which the outer ends of the springs C bear. The tyre is provided with flaps U secured between the upturned edges of the rim and side flanges L.
