Abstract
5689. Millecam, C. March 9. Spindle apparatus; doffing-arrangements.- The flyer is secured to the spindle by means of a stud 6, which is carried by a resilient strip 5 mounted on the flyer hub or on the spindle and engages a recess formed at the bottom of a groove 7. Stops 12 are arranged on a bar carried by a pivoted lever so as to engage flats on the spindles to prevent their rotation when the flyers are being detached and replaced.
