Abstract

4801. Bellini, E., and Tosi, A. March 7, 1908, [Convention date]. Directive wireless signalling.-In a system of directed wireless telegraphy, wave propagation is arranged to be a maximum in a given direction and a minimum in the opposite direction, by adding to the aerial a as ordinarily used for directed propagation a second aerial b at the axis of symmetry of the former, this aerial radiating waves which are in phase with, or in opposition to, and preferably of the same amplitude as, the waves radiated by the former aerial. The arrangements for the receiving - aerial are similar to the above.
