Abstract
1,175,365. Aerials; duplex radio signalling. THOMSON-CSF. 28 Nov., 1966 [29 Nov., 1965], No. 53243/66. Headings H4A and H4L. An antenna radiation lobe scanning system is formed of elementary sources S 1 . . . S 16 , and is coupled, through the phase-shifters Ph 1 . . . Ph 16 , and the hybrid junction T, to the transmitter E and receiver, R. The phase shifters are adjusted, to produce the required elevational and azimuthol scanning, by the controller C, coupled to the synchronizing output, SP, of the transmitter, E. The device, I, introduces an additional phase shift of T into the phaseshifters Ph 8 to Ph 16 , during reception, which causes the received signals to be passed through the branch, 4, of the junction T, to the receiver R. In a modification, the arrangement is applied to a monopulse coder.
