A screw hole h allows access to the chamber c ; rivets f or bolts hold the h a l v e s together ; and a lining l may be employed. White or red lead packing may be used between the surfaces d. If used as a bush, the external sheave may be cast or turned in one piece. The device is particularly applicable for railway-signal pulleys.
