To secure axles with their ball-bearings in loose wheels of haulage trucks, a loose yoke i fitting into a groove formed on the extremity of the axle is provided. The yoke may be secured by a pin k, or it may have its ends bent inwards so as to take around the bottom of the groove. The bearing consists of race-rings b secured to the axle end and of outer race-rings c separated by a split ring. The parts are fixed in the hub by an annular face-plate secured to the inner face of the hub.
