Hubs; spokes, securing. -In a perambulator or like wheel hub having ball bearings, the ends of the hub a are slotted to receive double spokes c which act as stops for the outer ball races d<1>. The slotted ends of the hub may be supported by outer rings. The inner axlecap h abuts against punched-up projections j on the axle e, which consists of a plain rolled or drawn steel bar of circular section. The outer cap h has a recess to receive a U-shaped washer i engaging grooves e<1> on the axle. To insert or remove the washer, the cap h is pressed inwards against the spring f.
