In a modification, Fig. 6, the paring-cutter 1 has cutting-edges a<1> converging to a point a<6> and side scoring-blades 3 and guards c are adjustably held in side grooves in the head 2. In another modification, which is used for paring, one blade and one guard adjustably fixed in grooves in one side of the head are used. All the cutters and guards are preferably interchangeable.
