Spring wheels. - In wheels of the kind in which the wheel body is suspended from a resilient metal band by means of a flexible cover enclosing the band, as described in Specification No. 26,653, A.D. 1906, a soft inner cushion 4, with flat faces 7 is provided, against which two resilient bands 9 bear. The cover 3 may be integral with, or separate from the part 4, and is secured to the rim 1 in any known manner. Means are provided for lateral support and radial guiding of the bands, such as a web 11 passing between the bands into a recess 8 in the soft cushion.
