Spray-producers. - In those paint sprayers in which the air valve is opened before the paint valve, and in which both valves are opened by a lever, provision is made to allow a lengthened interval between the opening of the two valves. The paintvalve spindle d has a sleeve extension e, which is guided by a pin P. A lever h is pivoted at g and bears at one end on a lever i, which is pivoted at i<2> and contacts with the air-valve spindle k. When the lever h is raised, the valve k<2> is gradually opened until the lever contacts with a stop p, which serves asafulcrum during the further motion necessary to move the paint-valve spindle d against the action of a spring f. By removing a nut l<4>, the part l<2> of the frame may be swung about a pin l<1>, and the whole apparatus readily connected.
