Carburetting.-In a plant for making carburetted air, air is forced by a pump A to a holder B, and thence by a pipe J to a meter C, dryer E, and the carburettor F, a reducing or governing valve G being preferably interposed between the dryer and the carburettor. The petrol-supply apparatus D is driven by a connexion from the meter C. One pump A and holder B may supply air to a number of sets of apparatus C, D, E, F ; or, in some cases, the holder B may be dispensed with.
