Mercantile forms.-Relates to mercantile forms in which a second writing of the name and address of the addressee is avoided by causing the name at the head of the form to serve also as the external postal address. The blank, Fig. 1, is provided with two flaps e gummed at the upper edges, and has the name of the addressee written on the flap p<1>. To close the form, the flaps p<4>, p<3> are folded on to the flap p<2> and tucked under the pockets e ; the flap p<1> is then turned back and secured by a stamp to the back of the form. A larger writing-surface is secured by extending the flaps p<2>, p<3>, p<4>, as shown in Fig. 6, in which case one of the pockets e is replaced by a slit e<1> in the sheet. The extension is folded along the line f<1>, and then the form is folded as before. In a modification used with forms of ordinary shape, a wrapper w, Figs. 10 and 12, is provided, and is folded at w<1>, secured by side flaps w<2>, and has an opening at the shorter edge w<3>. The folded form p is placed in the wrapper, the extension p<6> bearing the address being turned down on to the back of the wrapper and secured by a stamp or by a stamp and slits to engage the corners.
