Abstract
2839. Mosher, C. D. Feb. 5. Water-tube boilers.- The boiler is provided at each side with a row of curved tubes 20, connected below to a longitudinal drum 16 and above to the steam and water drum 10; the 'tube-ends may be staggered where they enter the drum 10. A row of curved tubes 21 is also fitted at the front of the boiler above the fire-door. The tubes 12, 20, 21 are removable through a single row of holes 22 in the drum 10.
