Incandescent gas lamps.-The globe j, shade k, mantle support, and flue a of an inverted or downwardly-inclined burner are carried by arms h, so that they may be removed together. In one arrangement, the china, metal, or like flue a has outlets g, Fig. 1, and a shoulder d resting on a perforated ring b carried by the shade and globe holder e. The holder e is secured by a bayonet-joint or otherwise to a ring i on the arms h, and the mantle holder is supported by the flue. In another arrangement, the lower parts of the flue and of the burner tube are bent so that the mantle is held vertically, and the flue a, Fig. 2, is carried by one or other of its shoulders d resting on a perforated part b secured to the arms h. According to the Provisional Specification, a mantle holder may be arranged eccentrically on the burner mouth.
