Spring wheels; felloes or rims. - Relates to the wheel described in Specification No. 1546, A.D. 1903, in which arms on the hub portion engage with pneumatic chambers held in pockets in the rim portion. The outer rim A, Figs. 5 and 6, is in two parts, and carries on the outside a tyre B and on the inside the cover of a pneumatic tube C. Pairs of arms d project from the hub D and are connected at their outer ends by bolts E passing through pockets in the pneumatic tube or in lugs on the inside of the tube, or between two air tubes contained in the cover. The tube may be continuous, or in sections as shown in Fig. 5, and may be supported inside by a ring a' attached to the rim A. Side plates with apertures through which the ends of the bolts E pass may be attached to the rim.
