15,956. Kay, J. M. Aug. 4. Contacts, mechanical.-The mechanical contact described in Specification No. 2289, A.D. 1905, is provided with an electric indicating- contact. Copper plates Z, Y are attached respectively to the cam C and to a sleeper, and wires lead from the plates to a switch, and lamp, bell, or other indicator with a battery in the signal cabin so that the signalman by closing the switch can ascertain the position of the cam C.
