Ironing-machines.-In an ironing-machine, comprising a heated iron A, reciprocated over a table E adapted to be raised and lowered, the latter operation is effected by means of the hand-lever H with the arrangement of links shown, or by a treadle-lever. The lever for starting or stopping the machine may be connected to the table-actuating lever so as to be operated simultaneously therewith. The iron is reciprocated by means of a crank-pin C and a connecting- rod D. The machine is intended for ironing small articles, e.g. collars, cuffs, and shirts.
