Toothed wheels 3, 4 and 8, 9, running on bearings 10, are secured to the driving-shaft 2 and the shaft 5. The shaft 5 carries a clutch 13, which is moved by a lever 20, or by a chain and wheel, into contact with the surfaces 11, 12 on the wheels 8, 9. The lever 20 is screwed to a cylinder 19, which screws within a fixed nut 22, carrying with it the fixed cup 17, movable cup 18, and ball bearing 16, and moving longitudinally the sleeve 14 and shaft 5, to which it is screwed.
