10,478. Lloyd, F., and Ticket Punch and Register Co. May 6. Ticket punches.-The apparatus described in Specification No. 17,179, A.D. 1902, is modified in two particulars. The sliding rod f, Fig. 2, which co-acts with the central plunger d to prevent the operation of the punch without the insertion of a ticket, is provided with a plate or projection f<1> entirely disconnected from the casing c. The casing thus projects less and allows more of the ticket to be visible. The counting-mechanism is actuated by means of a pawl i<4>, Fig. 3, pivoted on the sliding-bar b, with a spring i<x> and a nose piece i<5> to engage a pin on the crank i<1>. The crank is provided with a spring i<7> and an arm i' which is engaged by a stop i<8>.
