Ticket clips and punches.-A bell-punch for tickets is operated by a presser h, Fig. 6, the triangular cheeks h<1> of which have slots h<2> engaging a crosspin. carried by a pair of levers k pivoted at j and supporting between them the hollow punch n by means of transverse pins n'. A central pin q, working in the punch and slightly in advance of it, is adapted to hold up a spring-pressed block r, guided on a pin r<2>, until the shoulders k<2> on the levers k have passed it, when an unpunched ticket is inserted ; otherwise, however, the block r descends so as to lock the punch if no ticket or a previously punched ticket is inserted. The punched sections are guided through a passage w<1> into a receptacle w. The cross-pin l engages the forked arm s<1> of a registering-device s on one side, and operates the hell t on the other by depressing the spring lever t<3>, Fig 8, so as to operate the spring-actuated hammer u of the bell. The casing has a pair of projecting flanges c, c', Fig. 3, to engage slots in the turned-up ends of a plate b riveted to the cash-bag strap, and isheld against vertical movement by a spring catch g.
