Gas and like engines.- To facilitate the cleaning of the cylinders, com- bustion chambers, and pistons, the combustion chamber is made to slide horizontally on girders D, D<1>, formed on the engine framing. The cylinder is held in posi- tion by the guide N, and bolts S passing through the combustion chamber. The bolts bear on yield- ing plates T within the cylinder.
