Disc-wheels; felloes or rims; tyres, pneumatic.- The pneumatic tyres of motor-car, cycle, and other vehicle wheels are rendered easily detachable and are prevented from creeping. The wheel consists of two pressed-steel discs a, b, of which one a is formed with a hook-shaped edge for engaging a pneumatic tyre, and the two discs are riveted to a distance ring c. A hook-shaped ring d is detachably screwed to the disc b by bolts and nuts e, g, an india-rubber, paper, or like ring i being interposed. A stop ring f, preferably of aluminium, is placed between the edges of the tyre, and may be separately secured to the rim, being formed in sections, if desired. The inflating-valve passes through a hole in the stop ring f and rim, and it may be bent to project transversely through one of the discs.
