Distancepieces j separating the blocks are formed in two parts, having corrugations to enter recesses on the ends of the blocks and leaving a cylindrical hole m through which additional transverse bolts are passed to keep the tyre in position. The annular plates may be formed integral with the rim c, and the blocks may be inserted through openings in the sides.
