The rim, with or without a lining of indiarubber on its inner periphery, is secured on the tyre, rim, or felloe of the wheel by engagement of projections g in grooves f, and by means of bolts j which pass through the felloe a and enter the projections e. In modifications, side flanges may be formed or secured on the wheel in addition to, or in lieu of, the side flanges of the rim c.
