18,984. Rushton, J. L. Sept. 3. Carding-engines.-Relates to means for mounting the card fillets on the flats. The plates 3, Figs. 1, 2, and 6, for securing the ends of the fillets 2, have upstanding flanges 4, guarding the last row of card teeth at each end of the flat, and fangs 5 which are pressed into the foundation of the fillet. The end-plates are secured to the flats as usual by the clamps 6 which secure the sides of the fillets.
