Incandescent gas burners.-The intensity of the light is increased by the use of a cylindrical mixing-tube 2 with a bulbous lower end 3 in combination either with a special burner head 6, Fig. 1, formed with inclined air tubes 8 or with an ordinary burner head H surmounted by a speciallyconstructed detachable burner head 6, Fig. 4, which is normally secured in position by clips 10. The gas nozzle 1 is provided with a number of fine orifices 9, and the size of the air-supply openings 4 may be regulated by a perforated ring or the like.
